Greater Twin Cities United Way benefits for CVC-TC members

Greater Twin Cities United Way is your link to workplace volunteerism that matters.

United Way’s mission is uniting people to build pathways out of poverty, creating opportunities for all.

Greater Twin Cities United Way offers:

  • Community engagement plans that reflect your corporate values. Caring Connection, the United Way volunteer match and referral service, unites people with volunteer projects that serve community partners across the nine-county metro area. Caring Connection will create a program that makes a difference in the areas and issues your organization cares most about. Employees can advocate for specific causes through participation in year-round giving opportunities, educational events, support drives (food drives, book drives, etc.), and volunteer opportunities for groups or individuals. Caring Connection provides:
    • Online search and referral service.
    • Customized volunteer project planning for onetime events or year round volunteer opportunities.
    • Meaningful projects that you can do at your company site.
    • Volunteer opportunities that reflect your corporate values and philanthropic interests.
    • Connection with programs making a difference in your immediate community.
  • Customized corporate consulting and planning. United Way consultants will work with you to ensure that your community support reflects strategic objectives and employee interests. Whether it’s launching or refreshing a workplace giving campaign, or ensuring that employees and customers are involved in community and/or cause specific campaigns, United Way has hundreds of opportunities available to help you achieve your philanthropic and citizenship objectives with a customized plan.
  • Cause-related sponsorships and marketing opportunities. Reach local consumer groups and raise visibility for corporate citizenship goals through year round events and promotions. United Way can provide both cause-specific and audience–specific opportunities.
