2010 Annual Meeting with Minnesota Compass: Measuring progress. Inspiring action.
Minnesota is changing. How well are we confronting the challenges we face?
Our residents are aging, communities are becoming more diverse, local economies are evolving. Minnesota Compass is a non-partisan social indicators project that measures progress for a host of areas, including civic engagement, education, housing, economy and workforce, environment, and others. They provide decision-makers in government, business, nonprofit, and philanthropy with the information they need to know to improve outcomes and keep our quality of life high. The project provides data, commentary, analysis, and additional resources to take action for 87 counties, seven regions, major cities and the state as a whole. To learn more, visit www.mncompass.org. Led by Wilder Research, Minnesota Compass is funded by a consortium of foundations from around the state.
There will be a short annual business meeting prior to the program. Lunch will be provided.
