Successful Partnerships

Volunteer managers are always looking for unique and sustainable opportunities to make a difference to offer to their volunteer base. There is no shortage of websites that list volunteer opportunities; however, most volunteer websites aren’t built to allow us to share the results of our experiences with others. That leaves us with trial and error to determine if an opportunity is right for our organization in the long term.

You are cordially invited to join fellow CVC-TC members for a very special web-based program: “Successful Partnerships.”

Participants will hear about three unique, built-to-last partnerships that are producing real results in the community. Participants will learn what makes each partnership successful and will be given the recipe to create similar partnerships at their own organizations.

There are two ways to participate:

  • At your desk. Watch the Webinar while enjoying lunch at your desk (details on logging on will be provided prior to the event).
  • In a conference room at your office. Invite your volunteer leaders and participate as a small group.

The program will allow for “live” Q&A as time permits. Q&A results will subsequently be posted on the CVC-TC website.

Registration closes at noon on Wednesday, March 17.

Don’t forget to submit a nomination for your successful partnership to be announced at the CVC-TC 2010 Awards Luncheon and 30th Anniversary Celebration! Nominations are currently being accepted for “Community Partner” and “Employee Engagement” awards to honor and recognize outstanding member corporate volunteer programs that demonstrate leadership in anticipating and responding to the changing needs of the Twin Cities community. Nominations are due March 19, 2010.
