CVC-TC July Event
Please join the CVC for a special event Tuesday, July 18th, at ECMC. Carmen Perez, Director, Data Insights, CECP, New York City, will join us to present Employee Engagement trends. An overview of Carmen’s presentation and her bio is below.

Check in with the 2nd floor/skyway security desk who will direct you to the 14th floor of the building. That is where you will check in, get a security badge (you will need to provide a government-issued photo ID), and where Sabrina will meet you to be escorted to the meeting room.

Overview: Purpose is the New Engagement
CECP will share Giving in Numbers trends related to employee engagement with a focus on what is changing in corporate volunteering. 250+ large companies reporting data on their programs is the basis for this benchmarking presentation. Learn how your company compares or how companies structure their programs if you are a non-profit practitioner.
Carmen Perez - As Director, Data Insights, Carmen leads data-driven methods of achieving CECP’s mission. The Data Insights team advances how companies collect, compare, evaluate, and share their data. This includes CECP’s customized benchmarking service, through which she has advised over 100 Fortune 500 companies with insights and recommendations. She also spearheaded CECP’s global expansion, publishing a global standard to define recipients of social investment as well as creating a growing network, The Global Exchange. She is the creator and author of the first Giving Around the Globe report. She joined CECP is 2011. Carmen is a results-oriented social sector intraprenuer whose background is primarily in the community economic development field, where she led the formation of a cooperative financial institution and served as its first CEO. She has an MPA in nonprofit financial management from NYU Wagner. She is originally from Wisconsin and currently lives in Queens, NY with her family.
