We know that attracting, hiring and retaining the best talent in the industry is the aim of every company. A Corporate Philanthropy and Volunteer Program is one concrete way to accomplish those goals, but it takes aligning with Human Resources to communicate the impact of those programs as a way to recruit and retain talent.

In this session, we will hear from an expert panel that will share best practices and tips on how their Employee Volunteer Programs and Human Resources work together to grow and strengthen their talent pool.

Confirmed Panelists Include:

  • Moderator Jennifer Kramm, Nonprofit Board & Strategy Consultant
  • Caroline DeVinck, Regional Corporate Citizenship Lead; Accenture
  • Vicky Hidalgo Gonzalez, Senior Manager for Campus Recruiting; US Bank
  • DeeDee Gorman, Senior Community Relations Specialist; ECMC Group
  • Andrea Riehl, Social Impact Manager; Best Buy

Q & A, Reflection, and Wrap Up

As we think about an employee life cycle, we will identify key volunteer engagement points that align with where employees are in their careers. From integrating and assimilating new employees to overall corporate culture and team building through group volunteer opportunities, to mid-career employees that want to grow in leadership through skill-based or pro-bono volunteering, finally with long-term and invested employees looking to participant in board engagement.

It starts with volunteering but ends with: recruitment, retention, improved satisfaction, skill development, and cost savings in lower employee turnover.
Come learn how!
