As we think about an employee life cycle, we will identify key volunteer engagement points that align with where employees are in their careers. From integrating and assimilating new employees to overall corporate culture and team building through group volunteer opportunities, to mid-career employees that want to grow in leadership through skill-based or pro-bono volunteering, finally with long-term and invested employees looking to participant in board engagement.

 
It starts with volunteering but ends with: recruitment, retention, improved satisfaction, skill development, and cost savings in lower employee turnover.
