Second Harvest Heartland is currently exploring ways in which we can amplify sustainability as part of our core operations and mine new sustainability ideas that we can potentially deploy.
We are looking for a volunteer with a background in sustainability planning, measurement, and evaluation to join us for an 8-10 week/20-30-hour pro bono project.
Land O’Lakes employees engaged in their annual Week of Service, June 12-June 16, 2023.
Throughout the week, 322 employees engaged in volunteer activities such as crafting superhero capes for youth, packing mental health and hygiene kits for LGBTQ+ community, donating blood via Red Cross blood drive, creating iSpy jars assisted living residents, and virtually supported students through a business competition.

Thank you to all those who attended! We had over 80 people attend in person and they were excited to hear from keynote presenter, Dianne Haulcy, President and CEO of The Family Partnership.

HandsOn Twin Cities Pro Bono Advisory Program is hosting a virtual Connected for Change - HR day with nonprofits and community volunteers.

Spring Yardwork & Gardening
We are looking for small groups of 3-9 people to help with spring yard & garden clean-up and planting at each of our 36 homes. We’ll match you with a location close to you. Scheduled times are two (2) hours, and dates & times are fairly flexible for late May through early June. The CVC-TC Annual Celebration is right around the corner on May 11 from 3-6 p.m. at Mendakota Country Club. Registration is open until April 30. Here’s 5 reasons you should attend:
During the February 27, 2023, Annual Meeting of the Corporate Volunteerism Council – Twin Cities, members were presented with the proposed 2023 budget and board slate for approval.
Attendee and non-attendee members were emailed to also have the opportunity to vote via an online survey.
