HandsOn Twin Cities brings people together to strengthen communities through meaningful volunteer actions. HandsOn Twin Cities:

Links volunteers with volunteer opportunities.

HandsOn is the Twin Cities’ resource hub for volunteers and volunteering – the starting place for volunteerism, leadership development and service learning. As a CVC-TC member, you receive the following:

Free Customized Referral Service to identify volunteer projects
Through its partnerships with 300 nonprofit affiliates, HandsOn Twin Cities provides hundreds of unique and rewarding opportunities that will spark an interest in anyone, and can match the many areas of focus for your foundation, team members or volunteer council. HandsOn Twin Cities maintains an online database and project calendar that includes hundreds of one-time, monthly and ongoing volunteer project listings throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area. If you have a special request, or cannot find an opportunity that matches your need on the database, you are encouraged to call HandsOn Twin Cities, which can conduct a customized referral service for you free of charge.

Discount on Volunteer Management Workshops
HandsOn Twin Cities provides training and consulting for corporate volunteer councils and volunteer groups. CVC-TC member companies receive a 10 percent discount on customized workshops delivered by HandsOn. A one-hour customized workshop for the general public is $300; for CVC-TC members the workshop fee is $270. Scheduled workshops are normally $60; CVC-TC members receive a discounted rate of $50 per workshop.

Discount on one Managed Volunteer Project per year
HandsOn Twin Cities connects companies and organizations with meaningful volunteer projects that allow employees to get involved and make an impact in their communities. HandsOn Twin Cities can facilitate service projects for as few as four people and as many as 1,000 employees (at multiple sites) at once. CVC-TC member companies receive a 10 percent discount on one 25-to-100-person managed project per year.
