How to Join or Renew

 

When you join the Corporate Volunteerism Council - Twin Cities (CVC-TC), you join the ranks of more than 40 companies and nonprofits that are dedicated to the community and leading the way in volunteerism.

Membership Types and Rates

250-499 Employees $300 One primary contact and two secondary contacts
Fewer than 250 Employees $150 One primary contact and two secondary contacts
Associate Membership* $125 One primary contact and two secondary contacts
Partner Membership* $125 One primary contact and two secondary contacts

 

*Associate Membership is for nonprofit organizations that are seeking to provide CVC-TC corporate members with information on improving workforce volunteerism, knowledge on volunteerism trends and information on collaboration building.

* Partner Members are community organizations that provide expertise and a diverse perspective on community needs, volunteerism trends and practices, and nonprofit governance.

Need an invoice for payment? No problem! Go through the Join Online process and choose to pay by check.
 

Associate Membership

Associate Memberships are on a two-year calendar year basis (Jan.-Dec. of the following year). The next application period will be Fall of 2019 and the following after that will be Fall 2021. Associate Memberships are limited to a maximum number calculated biennially to reflect a ratio of one nonprofit member for every four corporate members, and decided by a competitive application process. All nonprofit applications are assessed by a review committee that scores on several different variables.

The deadline to apply is Oct. 31, 2019. Applications are reviewed in November and decisions will be finalized and communicated in early December 2019.

 

 

Partner Membership

The Board of Directors may, at its discretion, designate community organizations as Partner Members. The invitation is extended by a CVC board member to those organizations that provide expertise and a diverse perspective on community needs, volunteerism trends and practices, and nonprofit governance. Once an invitation is extended, a Partner Member must fill out an application to apply. A Partner Member may be permitted one spot on the Board of Directors and will provide goods or services that will benefit the CVC membership (including, but not limited to programming). This designation will be made for a period of three years and must be approved and renewed in three-year increments.
