Overview: 8 tips and trends for 2018
As we approach the 2018 planning season, Bridget Nelson Monroe from Bellmont Partners and Arik Hanson from ACH Communications will talk about how social media can and should fit into our plans in the year ahead with a list of ideas and trends for us to keep top-of-mind.
Bridget Nelson Monroe, Vice President, Bellmont Partners
Bridget takes an integrated approach to public relations, drawing on her experience in digital marketing, content strategy and journalism to bring unique strategies and solutions to Bellmont Partners clients. She connects big ideas with pragmatic execution in social media, content marketing, media relations, analytics and more. Working with C-level leaders and marketing teams of all sizes, Bridget identifies how PR efforts can best serve each client’s overall marketing and business goals – and drive results.
Bridget’s background includes editorial positions at Reader’s Digest and Better Homes and Gardens, and she helped launch the content strategy division of the NYC digital marketing agency Digitas Health. She is also an active volunteer for several industry organizations, including a term on the Minnesota Interactive Marketing Association (MIMA) board of directors.
Arik Hanson, Principal, ACH Communications
Savvy and seasoned marketing and communications leader with almost than 20 years’ experience helping organizations achieve their goals, realize bottom-line results and build strong brands. Arik is an award-winning writer and strategic thinker with specific experience in media relations, marketing communications, digital marketing, social media marketing and corporate communications.
He has specific experience with a host of large companies country including: Sleep Number, General Mills, Walgreens, Mall of America, Allina Health, UCare, Starkey, Andersen Windows & Doors, Cargill, Trane, Thermo King and Toro.
Arik is also a well-known PR and marketing blogger. His blog, Communications Conversations, has been recognized by PRWeb and PRWeek as "must reads" and regularly pops up on top PR blog lists.
And finally, Arik is also a regular speaker at PR/marketing events big and small including: BlogWorld, MIMA Summit, Social Media Breakfast, Minnesota Health Strategy and Communicators Network, and others. Arik also talks to and advises college students across Minnesota and western Wisconsin on a regular basis.
