Who Attended Zeeda Magnuson, HandsOn Twin Cities
In the wake of an historic election, we have seen people from all walks of life looking for ways to come together, to tackle tough challenges, and to move forward to find healing by helping others. It starts with service: volunteering strengthens relationships and connections with neighbors, and it empowers individuals to create the change they want to see in their communities. Points of Light, is the world's largest organization dedicated to volunteer service, has started a campaign called Service Unites in response to help inspire and motivate people to act. This effort will tap into the unlimited hope and potential of individuals to spark change and tackle the toughest problems facing our communities and our country. In doing so, we will show that there is more in our country that unites us than divides us and through our actions vote every day for the community we want to see. Come and hear from Jenny Lawson, Executive Director of the Corporate Institute and Madden Manion, Chief Development Officer, as they share more about this initiative, how we can inspire ourselves and teams to take action. Breakfast will be served. Note: To access any members-only materials for this event, you must be logged in and a current member of CVC-TC.
