Lead Volunteer Opportunities: 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance
HandsOn Twin Cities is looking for a group of motivated, service-oriented volunteers to help orchestrate a large-scale hunger relief event on Monday, 9/12/22. This important event is one of many signature 9/11 Day-supported projects being held in observance of the 21st anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Other event locations include New York City, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, St. Louis, San Francisco, and others.
Connected for Change - Marketing Day Nonprofit Recruitment
HandsOn Twin Cities Connected for Change series brings together a community of collaborators to build capacity for nonprofits through a one-day event focused on a specific functional area. Our upcoming Connected for Change Day is Marketing Day. Marketing Day is an opportunity for you to get expert advice on marketing related challenges from pro bono consultants. As you know, many nonprofits are unable to staff roles in all foundational functional areas and greatly benefit from being able to consult with trained professionals. It's time to jump into action! Greater Twin Cities United Way is bringing together community changemakers for our annual Action Day initiative to provide backpacks full of school supplies for 50,000 local students!
Each year, more than 100,000 greater Twin Cities students return to school without essential school supplies to support their work in the classroom.

Comcast is grateful to our military community for its dedication to our country. We also recognize their family members who also contribute so much to our country and to our company. In this session, Tracy Nielsen and Joy Altmann from HandsOn Twin Cities will share the power of pro bono volunteerism and the impact that it can make for companies, nonprofits, and individual volunteers.
Join us for the CVC-TC annual celebration event on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 1pm – 4:00pm at Edinburgh USA in Brooklyn Park. We are excited to finally come together and enjoy some appetizers, desserts, and network with one another.
