21 Polar Plunge Jumpers Support Special Olympics Minnesota

Twenty one ECMC Group volunteers braved the cold water to support Special Olympics Minnesota through the Polar Plunge!

Each year, the Polar Plunge challenges thousands of brave jumpers at numerous locations around Minnesota to jump into a lake during the winter months. All funds raised go toward programming and events for more than 8,200 athletes statewide.

The event, which was sponsored by the Caring for the Community (CFC) Committee, took place Friday, March 4 at Bde Maka Ska (formerly Lake Calhoun), in Minneapolis, where Team ECMC Group took to the lake or virtually supported the cause.

This year, ECMC Group jumpers collectively raised nearly $5,800!
