Kick off 2023 with the first of four quarterly discussions of the new book Transforming Disruption to Impact: Rethinking Volunteer Engagement for a Rapidly Changing World by Doug Bolton, Beth Steinhorn, Jerome Tennille, and Craig Young.
The January discussion will focus on Section 1, the Landscape of Disruption. Topics include Leadership for Volunteering and Community Resilience, Learning from the Pandemic, Racial Equity in Volunteerism, Co-Generational Service, and Moving Beyond Transactional Volunteerism to Transformational Civic Engagement.
With a key goal of weaving social connectedness among CVC-TC thought leaders, in-person discussions will continue throughout the year on Rethinking Strategy, Rethinking Engagement, and Rethinking Impact.
