Feminine hygiene products are expensive. Deciding between a $10 box of tampons and a decent meal is real choice homeless women have to make every month. As shelters don’t always make these products available, women are forced to use alternative materials – socks, pieces of fabric, paper towels. And others don’t have money to purchase or access to necessary medication, like Tylenol, to deal with the side effects of menstruation. You can help!! Give dignity to women who so desperately deserve it by donating feminine hygiene products.
This year, HandsOn Twin Cities is thrilled to partner with The Market at Malcolm Yards to offer a variety of activities in their Blueprint room.
We will again be collecting donations of pads, tampons, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash that will go to local nonprofit partners.
We will also be assembling 250 kits onsite, feature our nonprofit partners, have fun photo ops and mimosas, and after you've made a BIG impact the Market at Malcolm Yards features nine culinary concepts for you to feast and enjoy!
