Every child deserves an education that prepares them for success. Yet each year, 100,000 K-12 students in the greater Twin Cities return to school without the school supplies they need, impacting self-esteem and performance.
You can help ensure local Twin Cities students start the year with a backpack full of school supplies to support their work in the classroom.
Join Greater Twin Cities United Way and hundreds of volunteers as the Minnesota Twins and St. Paul Saints host Action Day 2023 at Target Field on Thursday, August 3.
CVC Twin Cities has reserved a volunteer station during the 2:00 – 4:00 pm shift that can accommodate up to 20 volunteers that will team up and pack 400 backpacks!
